Win the opportunity to launch your own online store with SimplyBiz and iKhokha
What if your business could keep selling while you sleep?
This Mandela Day, SimplyBiz and iKhokha are giving 67 South African small businesses the opportunity to build and launch their very own iKhokha Webstore and start selling online.
Whether you’re selling handmade products, clothing, beauty services, food products, professional services, or something completely unique, having an online presence can help you reach customers beyond your street, suburb, or city.
Why an online store matters
Today’s customers expect convenience. They want to discover businesses online, browse products and services, and make purchases quickly and easily.
An online store helps your business:
- Reach new customers
- Increase visibility
- Showcase your products and services
- Accept online payments
- Sell beyond your immediate location
- Build credibility and trust
And the best part? Your store can work for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What the 67 selected businesses will receive
The 67 selected businesses will receive the opportunity to create and launch their own iKhokha Webstore.
With guidance and support from the iKhokha team, winners will build their own online stores and prepare them for launch on Mandela Day 2026.
Once the stores go live, SimplyBiz and iKhokha will showcase the 67 businesses and their Webstores across our platforms, helping to drive traffic, increase visibility, and put thousands of potential customers in front of their new online stores.
How it works
Selected businesses will:
Step 1: Attend an iKhokha webstore webinar
Selected businesses will attend a practical iKhokha webinar where the team will guide them through the simple process of setting up their online store. You’ll learn how to create your Webstore, add products or services, customise your store, and get ready to launch — no technical expertise required.
Step 2: Create and build your webstore
Using the guidance provided, you’ll create your iKhokha Webstore, choose a unique web address, and upload your products and/or services, including images, pricing, and descriptions.
Step 3: Customise and publish your store
Personalise your Webstore with your branding, including your logo and business colours. Once complete, accept the required terms and conditions and publish your store, making it available to customers online.
Step 4: Create your SimplyBiz Directory listing
To maximise your visibility, selected businesses will be required to create a business advert in the SimplyBiz Directory and link it directly to their iKhokha Webstore. This will help other SimplyBiz members, buyers, suppliers, and potential customers discover your business and visit your online store, creating even more opportunities to generate leads and sales.
Step 5: Get featured and start selling
Once your Webstore is live, SimplyBiz and iKhokha will showcase the 67 businesses and their stores across our platforms, helping to drive traffic, boost visibility, and put your business in front of thousands of potential customers.
