Building Resilience Muscle as a Business
Focus on Your Customers
If you’re open for business, sing it from the rooftops!
If you are considered to be an essential business - be creative, innovative and flexible. Seek ways to offer your products and services digitally, or offer deliveries, or new ways of operating with social distancing. If you're not an essential business - use the time to plan for a post lockdown gear up with your team.
✔️ Get in touch with your customers and ask how you can help them. Reassure them that you are open for business, following all protocols and you are not profiteering.
✔️ If possible, offer better terms to keep your customers – they too are suffering.
✔️ Offer order-to-go or delivery from your store.
✔️Collaborate with another small business to deliver your product or to package different solutions.
✔️Actively seek to offer help to your community – people remember businesses that are good citizens and are more likely to support them in the future
✔️ Small businesses are nimble and often more in tune with their community, use this to their and your advantage.
